RECYCLING FEES APPLY FOR SOME ITEMS – PAY DIRECTLY TO VENDOR
CASH OR CHECK MADE PAYABLE TO MIDWEST RECYCLING CENTER
 CRT monitors ($5 each)
 CRT TVs 26” or smaller ($30 each)
 CRT TVs 27” or larger ($50 each)
 Console and rear projection TVs ($50 each)
 Big Screen TVs ($50 each)
 LED/LCD/Plasma TVs ($20 each)
 Printers/copiers/MFPs ($5 each)
 Any item with Freon ($10 each) Free this year, paid by Evergy
This year the electric company, Evergy, will give its customers up to a $200 rebate
for the refrigerators ($75), freezers ($75) room air conditioners ($25) and room
dehumidifiers ($25) recycled at the event. There is a limit of two small and two
large appliances accepted per Evergy Missouri residential address. Appliances will
be tested by MRC and must be in working order to be eligible for the rebate.
Please bring an electric bill to confirm your address and a rebate check will be
mailed to you for any working appliance 6 – 8 weeks after the event.
